Our Faculty of Engineering

The Universidad de Santiago (USACH) stands out for its tradition and social vocation, besides of having the biggest single campus of the Metropolitan Region and Central Area of the Country. Additionally, the Faculty of Engineering possesses nine different departments working together to bring innovation and knowledge at the service of society. In a few words, we are a community of over ten thousand people!

The mission of the Faculty of Engineering of USACH is to contribute knowledge for the country’s development through comprehensive education in different areas available, advanced-level professionals training, creation, preservation, culture and knowledge transfer. This is achieved by means of appropriate research in the field of scientific and technological innovation, comprehensive teaching and flexible curriculum, outreach and high-level technical assistance in the field of Engineering, especially in the industrial and service sectors.

As you enter the Faculty of Engineering, you will be granted the recognition of regular student, allowing the access to the benefits any USACH student has, such as the university card, free access to libraries and art or sports clubs, and primary health care, among others.
